”Mark did a wonderful job helping us to get settled. The lift room was charming and truly unique. Our own private Japanese hot soaker tub was a blissful addition. The local hiking trails and scenery were wonderful. Boyle’s provincial park and Helliwell park on nearby Hornby island are absolute must visits.”

”This is the second time we stayed at Manna house, the other being in the summer and it was another wonderful stay. Both stays were lovely, our favourite however was our winter stay as there was a real feeling of coziness as the snow was on the ground as we looked over the water from the cedar hot tub. ”My husband, dog and I spent a perfect, relaxing week at this cottage. I think the photos don’t do this place justice. It has all the amenities we needed and more and our dog absolutely loved the garden and beach for sniffing and exploring. ”Thank you Doug and family...your cabin and the entire property was amazing! The kids loved exploring everything outside - the creek was a magical and great place to cool down, the tree house which had a great view of everything and lots of fun swings, the cool teepee, and the firepit (gas) where they were able to roast their beloved marshmallows. ”Tannis and Hans are charming hosts who made our visit special and personal. Our room was sweetly decorated and, importantly, had a very comfortable queen bed. Hans prepared delicious breakfasts each of our two mornings, over which we had fun and interesting conversation. After breakfast check out the charming pond-side village created by Hans. As an extra convenience, the couple was kind enough to let us charge our EV in the carport. ”

”Cozy, rustic little cabin - a little small for 6 mature adults - only 4 chairs for dining. Great location but hard to find in the dark. The outhouse and woodstove came in handy when the power was out. We had a great time tho'!”

”It’s a quaint little place 10 minute drive outside of town. Although the property is quite dark a motion sensor light above the door made it quite easy to access my room. And although I’m not a overly private person there was just no need to interact with Russell so he left me too find my way. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would stay there again.”

”This hotel was beautiful; the decor, the grounds, the pool, the rooms, and the lobby. The staff were pleasant and quick to help. Though we didn't try the attached restaurant, we heard good things about it. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice, though on the smaller side. The view and proximity to the ocean was great. I would definitely enjoy staying here again.”

”The b and b is more like an air b and b. No meals prepared bu supplies were there for breakfast. The bed was a double and I would have preferred as queen. The bed was quite firm also. ”Very clean and well decorated. Owner works very hard to provide a nice place to stay. However, the way the property is portrayed on the web site, we expected an ocean fronting unit with access to the shore from the door of the unit. That is not accurate. It is down the driveway, across the main road of the island and 7 - 10 min walk (for us) to a rocky (but very nice) beach. The owner has done a nice job with the unit, small hot tub in small private deck and the sauna across the street and down...
