Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay. House was in great shape and enjoyed watching sunsets on the porch. The pool, exercise room and paddleboats were really nice and easy to access. Lots of trails for hiking.

Perfect for graduation weekend.

We stayed a long weekend for App State graduation. Perfect for family with lots of activities and space for everyone. Very clean and ample kitchen supplies for all meals. Loved all the deck space and multiple tables throughout the home.

The property was nice. Our only complaint was the ridiculous rule that we pay $5 for each bag of trash we left or take it to Waynesville, NC.

The place was better than advertised. We all had a wonderful time. Plenty of space. Deer visiting in the back yard. And the sound of a coyote pack echoing through the valley. It was awesome.

Wonderful mountain cabin!

The house was beautiful! It had great views of the mountains. The game room was a big hit with our family due to the storm that came through and we were unable to go outside. We had to cut our stay short due to not having power from the storm. The owner, Suzanne, was very attentive and wonderful to work with. We will definitely rent this property again!

The views from this cabin are amazing - from bedrooms and porches. The hot tub was great and we all got a lot of use out of it. The game area needs a little attention - there was only one actual dart and the arcade game didn’t work. We did enjoy the pool table. The biggest issue I had was advertising four king size beds - two of these were twin mattresses pushed together without the use of a connector, mattress topper and king size fitted sheet. I think these little changes even with the twin mattresses would make a big difference. Especially since these beds are in the bedrooms with connecting bathrooms so likely the ones utilized by adults as master baths. Overall a good property but could use a few small changes.

Comfy

The house was very nice and cozy. When we arrived the hot tub was uncovered and the water was very low. We ended up adding water to it and putting the cover back on in order to use it but after everything we thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is really spacious and had plenty of room with comfortable beds.

Awesome -sauce

The pictures doesn't compare to how beautiful this cabin truly is! We loved it! My granddaughter and her friends fell in love with the game room in the basement...more like an apartment with the complimentary "working" popcorn machine. And the amazing view of the mountains and breathtaking sunrise and sunset! I Love...Loved..Loved it!!!!

Overall, the stay was good. Pros: loved the development. Best creek I've played in. Our group had babies, teenagers, and seniors, and every age in between, and every age group was able to enjoy the creek. Very well stocked and maintained gym, and cute playground for the kids. The beds were comfortable, with plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was very well stocked - plenty of dishes, silverware, crockpot and blender, and even spices/oil/flourThe bathrooms, kitchen, and bedrooms were clean and plenty of papertowels, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies. My husband and kids loved the basement, especially the arcade, mini basketball, and huge comfy couch. Cons : Didn't feel like all areas of the cabin were attended to before our arrival...I needed to sweep upon arrival, there was a broken chair in the basement, and the covered porch had so much dust and pollen on the furniture it was unusable. Musty smell in the basement. Porches were lacking...more furniture would have been nice, and they're not covered except the side one so we couldn't enjoy the porches on rainy evenings. Each bathroom had 2 sets of towels...so unless you plan to wash towels or use towels sparingly, plan to be washing towels. Definitely not enough for 5 people for a week. Super creaky floors. You can hear people walking on the top floor all the way in the basement. Nothing that made our stay unenjoyable, but not fantastic. Good fit for large families.

The cabin was in a perfect spot and had a good view of the sunset from the back deck. The game room was by far my favorite area and my daughter felt like she had her own apartment for a week. My only complaint is that the hot tub had a weird smell and the curtain rod above the door closest to the hot tub was loose and it kept getting stuck on the top of the door and I had to take it down. The oven seemed a little dangerous since I daughter bumped it while we put groceries in the refrigerator and the burner turned on, and my son ran threw the kitchen and also bumped the stove and the gas turned on until we smelled it and turned it off and opened the windows for a while. Overall, I'd love to stay again during the fall or winter!

Very spacious home which made it comfortable for a large family. The homeowner had birdseed available at the home. We filled the 2 bird feeders and enjoyed the birds coming to visit. The view is beautiful. Private and quiet neighborhood. The roads are very curvy on the way up to the home. The only concern there was no emergency candles or flashlights available. The power in the neighborhood went out for about 3 hours at night, and it was very dark both inside the house and outside. We used our phone flashlights, and there was 1 Yankee candle to use for extra lighting. I would rent this home again for other family gatherings.

Rented this place for family vacation. The view from the deck was gorgeous. There was plenty of room for all of us. It is located in the mountains, closest grocery store took us 20-25 minutes around windy roads. Place was not suitable for young children. There is no yard for playing, the pool was 4ft at the shallow end, and the playground wasn’t kept up. I would not recommend for a family with young children, however, I felt it would be great for adults

Great house

This was an amazing property and it was so easy to get in touch when we had an issue with the upstairs ac unit. Evidently the people who stayed before us left it on 65 and it froze up. They had someone out the next morning to fix it. The house has plenty of room and gorgeous views. We are thinking of going back in December.
