Cabin with private pond. A peaceful escape

Relax with the whole family (including your four legged family members) at this peaceful place to stay. You can also take a relaxing walk around the property and connect with nature. Fishing is just a small wonder to this property. Come here to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle. If you really are looking for privacy, this is the place to be. We look forward to hosting you.

Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the house!!!! Non shedding breeds preferred.
Approximately 30 minutes from Jamestown, Crossville, Wartburg, & Monterey. We are near US hwy 127 and St hwy 62.
We are about half way between Nashville & Knoxville.
Tons of camping, hiking, trail riding nearby. Close to Cumberland Mountain, Pickett, & Frozen Head State Parks.

Truly just a beautiful slice of heaven! Sarah was a great host. The cabin was great and the lake fishing hole was dreamy! The boys spent most of the trip down on the dock catching fish. Exactly what our family needed before we enter into a busy season.

We were there 9/9-9/12 and had a relaxing, peaceful stay. The weather was perfect and my husband caught a few fish. The lily pads that filled the pond in 2023 had been thoroughly cleaned out which made the fishing more enjoyable. We also appreciated the pictures showing the directions at the end of Bowater. The cabin was clean, comfortable and spacious for our stay. We appreciated being able to have our dog with us too. The host was also very responsive to questions and easy to communicate with. I’m sure we’ll be back again. Thank you so much!!

Amazing Property!

If you are looking for a private getaway look no further. This was our second stay and we hope to stay again. My husband enjoyed fishing. I enjoyed sitting on the private dock to read. Our two dogs had plenty of room to roam. Sarah is a fantastic host and very responsive to any questions. If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet vacation book this property!

The property is stunning!

We have been to this cabin 2x now and we love it. It's very rural and peaceful. I give it 5 stars because we love it and so do our dogs. We wish the kitchen was stocked better (knives don't cut, only 2 glasses) and that the bunk bed mattress was better but honestly do not care enough not to return over and over. If you go just pick up some solo cups and bring a kitchen knife and you'll be enjoying this wonderful place too.

extended stay

We enjoyed staying at your cabin. We also appreciated allowing us to check in a few days early. The cabin was very cozy. The only issue, if you want to call them issues, the electric reclining loveseat was tricky to use. I'm not sure if the connection was loose, but it did not always work. Also, cell service was poor making it difficult to communicate with family members.

Relaxation

My husband, adult daughter, & myself were looking for some R&R away from everything since being caregivers for my mother in law. We wanted some much needed quiet time. We found it here! It was great just sitting on the porch or on the dock fishing! We will be back!

Best Vacation ever

So peaceful, quiet, beautiful, never turn on the TV or the WIFI, and sometimes forgot the phone. Will be back very soon, the fishing was the best, caught catfish, bream, crappie, bass, was surprised that it was not fished to death.

Beautiful!!

My family and I were at this property for the week and it was beautiful, peaceful and a great place to get away. Fishing at the pond was surprising as well! Kept the family busy every day for the entirety of the stay. We’ve already scheduled another trip. 😁
