”The property was beautiful and had a huge stretch of uninterrupted shoreline. The beach was gorgeous and made the stay. The pictures don’t show how much room there is to play and enjoy outside. There was no/limited drainage in the household. The upstairs shower didn’t drain and held water when taking a shower. The water is also very hard. Showering doesn’t seem to cleanse and leaves orange residue on your skin. This isn’t a problem at the neighboring property. Overall, the property was great and...

”It’s definitely a log cabin. It’s nicely furnished and decorated. But it’s not luxury. The master bedroom fan didn’t work. We tried to call but got no answer. Both fire tables on the deck were out of propane, one had been left on. The deck and back patio were dirty. They don’t appear to dust, sweep rake or weed. The door going out back was very dirty (blank on white). I get it, I have 3 boys - but a little effort goes a long way. These are basic things when you’re talking “luxury”. Directions...

”We chose Blue Harbor View for our accommodations on our first-ever visit to the UP, and it proved to be an excellent choice. The property had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation, and communication with our host, Susan, was outstanding from start to finish. We've stayed in many VRBO properties over the years, and this one stood out by providing so many thoughtful extras that others often overlook. There was an ample supply of trash bags, laundry detergent, shampoo, soap, paper towels, and...

”Our family of six enjoyed our stay at the M-28 house. It had plenty of space for everyone and we appreciated the little touches. It had lots of towels (a must for six people and lots of post-beach showers) and came stocked with plenty of ground coffee and coffee filters. The mudroom entrance was great to keep all our wet, sandy gear out of the main house. Thank you so much for being a great host and responding to my messages so promptly. You helped make this year’s trip to Marquette very...
