We arrived late at night, nobody was at the front desk and cell phone reception was terrible so it took me a bit of time to find the room number and code to get in. Be ready to take stairs to get to your room. The room was beautiful and so clean. We never got to see any staff on site, but our short stay was very pleasant.”

”We stayed here because we were attending a wedding a few miles away. The owners were nice at check in. The room did have an air freshener smell to it that was trying to hide a nasty cigarette smell but what do you expect for a cheap motel. We quick dropped our stuff and went to the wedding. After the wedding it was about midnight. The room still stunk but it was The bathroom that was disgusting. It had a very pungent vomit smell. ”The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive.”

”We enjoyed staying at the Queen of Catskills B&B. Both husband and wife are very personable and make you feel welcome. We stayed in the yellow room so we could have our own bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were great. The clawfoot bathtub looked great but was steep and slated at the bottom. ”The Marx is about a 10 minute drive to All Star Village, which made it a convenient place to stay while my son stayed there. There are restaurants and a grocery store nearby. The hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. The wallpaper and carpet needed replaced. It smells musty and the bathroom needs gutted. The treadmill in the gym was very old and there were only three pieces of equipment to use. The staff was friendly and quickly fixed the refrigerator that wasn't working in my room.”
