”This is a great place to stay on Jekyll Island. We only spent the night but I would come here again and stay longer! The surrounding area and hotel amenities are enough to keep you active and happy! Very few hotels have bars and serve food anymore so that was a plus too!”

”Overall very good experience. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here. Clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price. The breakfast is pretty basic and no real amenities (there is an outdoor pool) but for the price can’t beat it. ”

”I would have like to have been able to swim in the pool. I asked before I booked and was told that the pool would be opened. Unfortunately, this did not happen. There was also construction or remodeling going on in the building. I would have liked to know this in advance as well. Had I been privileged to accurate information, I would have made another choice.”

”The hotel is in a wonderful location, on the beach and short drive to everything the island has to offer. The hotel is a little dated, but the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendly staff, along with the beautiful pool and jacuzzi were great! My wife and I will definitely be back.”

”Very friendly staff. The floor in the bathroom and the carpeting were sticky though. Like too much soap and no rinsing? I just wore socks the whole time but it was a little offputting”

”The breakfast was cooked to order and it was amazing. We had a mishap and our server fixed it immediately. The rooms were clean and our housekeeper was very nice not giving a hassle for needing extra towels and rags. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool, it was clean and they even had pool towels that could be used. ”

”Fair handicapped accessibility. Bathroom door was cemented to floor and could not be closed.”

”pretty spot on the river - dinner was closed and we got pushed out of bar and it was just before 9:00 on Saturday - sleepy town all food on Saturday in area seems to stop serving at 9:00”

”We were put in a handicap room and we did not request this. Our lights did not work and the staff just said it’s the only room we have. No apology or request to address the issue. My husband had to find the breaker and trip the switch for lights and he also had to attach the toilet seat! The worst hotel experience I have ever had! ”

”The whole place needs a face lift--carpet in my room and hallways was filthy and the pool deck cracked and needs repair as well as cleaning. Someone had left clothes in the closet. The breakfast was fine and the lady working that area very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the staff very nice.”
