”I stayed in The Cove cottage which is small but ideal for a single guest. However, if the guest has mobility issues, there are a few challenges. The walk from the parking area is up hill with no railings, and there are also no handrails to get up the steps to the cottage door. The cottage has two metal bucket chairs, but no table where you can sit and eat if you wish to stay in. The toilet is fairly low to the floor with no grab bars to help you up, and the shower has no grab bars to help...

”There is significant construction going on for renovations, so it’s in pretty bad shape and it’s very noisy. Staff said it’s stated on the website and other places that it’s under construction, but we did not/ do not see that anywhere. The pool and the room were fine. The “main desk” is a series of folding tables in a dumpy area, and breakfast is grab-to-go cereals and some bagels with a garbage toaster. ”If you're looking for a nice vacation or get away, avoid at all costs. This place is a dump and is no better than a truck stop motel. I don't know if the pictures are old or AI but it looks drastically nicer online. Aside from the dirty bathroom and overall run down look of the hotel, the entire place reeks of weed and cigarettes. The staff was friendly enough and the location was central to everything, but the hotel itself was just gross. ”

”This was a no smoking facility, but the hallway continually smelled like smoke. There were almost no outlets in the room. One of them was a code violation, the walls are also paper thin and so in the middle of the night you were listening to the TV next door. ”

”When we pulled up the property looked unsafe the steps to enter the lobby were in disrepair , the side of the building had obvious signs of fire covered over with plywood and there was a huge pothole in the entrance drive. Not to mention that the overall area seemed unsafe to return to late at night. We drove away and stayed elsewhere. ”

”You get what you pay for. This motel was the cheapest in the area for the weekend we needed. It was clean, mostly quiet and very convenient in location. However, if you need an actual kitchen, this was not it. There was a second sink but nothing else to allow cooking or any food prep.”

”The first unacceptable problem was that the property is NOT HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE!! The second issue was that the property listed many amenities on Expedia that DID NOT EXIST!! I specifically booked our stay for The Arcade,Gift Shop, vending machines,and expected the breakfast buffet to be like the pictures that were posted!! Not even close!! My advice from this experience is to call the property first before you book it!! Especially if you have children!!!”

”We registered a room for 4 people. When we walked in. There was 2 towels and one roll of toilet paper. As for staff, the only staff we saw was when we checked in and checked out. There was stuff under the bed from the previous people and on the top shelf in the closet, we actually arrived a couple hours after check in time and the previous person was just getting the rest of their stuff out of our room.
