”We stayed for one night. Great boutique hotel. Food in bar was exceptional and the morning breakfast was some of the best I’ve had in Ireland so far. I would definitely recommend the hotel.”

”Had a lovely time here. My room view was beautiful of the lakeside. Bed comfy, unfortunately they had a problem with showers which did not work for one day. They handled the problem brilliantly. I was given a complimentary dinner. Much appreciated. Food great and breakfast scrumptious. It was like home from home. Thank you.”

”We had a great stay and wished we could have been there for more than one night! The team were amazing and couldn't have been more helpful giving directions and booking a taxi for us on the evening. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we were in the area.”

”The hotel is lovely and the staff are the most caring. We arrived late in the night and they were ready to make us food even though the kitchen was closed. The room was spacy and the beds were comfy. Tiny downside was that the wifi doesn't work in the rooms, only in the lobby, and was very slow even there.”

”The hotel runs with the efficiency of a well-oiled machine. The staff are polite and very attentive while the food is to a very high standard overall. Our room was cosy and clean, although the absence of a lift can prove problematic for anyone with a disability. Well located, the hotel affords easy access to the surrounding area. Overall, the hotel exudes a homely feel, offering good food, attentive service and comfortable accommodation.”

”The host was unfriendly and hadn't turned heat on so was very cold. Kitchen and bathroom had no heat. Terrible shower and refrigerator was worthless owner told us a stick in the freezer. Even her son said this was a nuisance. I would stay at West Cork Hotel in Skiberean again never again at Rineen.”

”My wife and I spent 3 nights at The Chocolate Box. We had the entire cottage, which included 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen , living room and a washing machine. It was an extremely peaceful and relaxing stay. It was so quiet as well. The location is perfect for day trips to Cork and Cobh, as well as the Ring of Kerry. Lidl was only a 10 minute drive away ”
