”Honestly, I typically love Best Western, but I had a horrible experience. I ALWAYS book through Expedia and they are absolutely wonderful. However, I did not get the room I booked, and got an ADA accessible room. It would have been fine, if I could fit under the shower head, and if the entire room didn’t reek of mold. I asked the staff if I could be switched and he said “there is nothing I can do, rooms booked through third parties are non-negotiable.” Which I know to be a lie, as I have...

”The room itself was great! Just like the pictures and definitely big. Not sure if there were pictures showing this or not, but I didn’t realize this wasn’t an indoor hotel…it’s more like a motel where it’s outdoors. Didn’t even use the hot tub bc the pool and hot tub are outside in the parking lot. It’s only 2 stories and you have to use stairs. I was also creeped out the first night or two bc not sure if it was a guest or not but someone was just always in their car outside of where our room...

”Rooms were clean and breakfast was great. When I checked in the whole lobby reeked like cigarette smoke. It was disgusting. I was quite shocked as it smelt like someone had just been smoking inside right before I walked in. The maintenance person was watching the desk so I had to wait a bit to check in. The room did not smell thankfully and when I returned to he lobby for breakfast the smell was no longer there. ”

”Breakfast had new variety of food daily, hot tub was hot with strong jets. Staff was very kind and I liked the location being close to downtown and across the street from a park. ”

”Lovely stay. Consistently friendly staff that goes above and beyond. Surprisingly nice amenities - boutique soaps, flavored water in the lobby, treats in the room. Very comfy stay for our family. ”

”This is a basic clean well run budget hotel that allows pets. Since we travel with a dog as often as we can, with limited choices of places allowing pets, this is by far one of our favorite chains for locations and price that allows pets. ”

”The entire hotel feels open and spacious. The eating area is well-designed and offers multiple options for seating including sofas with coffee tables. The rooms are trendy and comfortable. The location is excellent for enjoying Bend, but you will want a car available to you to access areas outside of downtown. The pool and hot tub area were very nice and while we didn't go into the fitness room, it looked very clean with multiple options for exercise. I drop the rating to 4 stars because there...

”Loved the fireplace. The staff was really kind, caring and helpful. The room was nice and clean. The facility was away from alot of the noise, but convenient to needs.”

”Room was squeaky clean, check in was easy and pleasant, and I loved the breakfast bar. Plenty of good amenities in the room and info in the entry about local events. It was really nice having snack options to purchase and hot drinks available all day. I appreciated that the selection of teas included a caffeine free option. I was in town for a race and chose this hotel for its walkability to the starting area, but I would definitely stay again to vacation.”
