Overview.
"Pelican's Landing" is a renovated 1-bedroom and 2 full bath unit in the popular resort of Pelican Beach. This beautiful condo sleeps 6 people and is located just steps from the private beach entrance! Pelican Beach Resort has been voted one of the best resorts for families in Destin for many years. The resort offers entertainment for adults and kids alike, including 3 swimming pools (some heated), grilling areas, arcade, tennis courts, pickle ball, a cafe, beachside Tiki Bar with food and drink waitress service & much more!! Pelican Beach is located across from Big Kahuna's in the heart of Destin!
This beautiful condo just underwent a renovation, and the results are a bright, beachy and comfortable surroundings so that you can enjoy your vacation. The new furniture and thoughtful decorations add to the overall feeling of comfort and relaxation. The renovations included new paint, light fixtures, bathroom cabinets and faucets, quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances, furniture, furnishings and more!
“Pelican’s Landing” offers an incredible 180-degree unobstructed view of the beach and the Gulf from the large 2nd floor balcony. The condo also offers free high-speed Wi-Fi, cox cable, smart TVs with Roku and Netflix, a regular coffee maker and a new Keurig machine, a beach umbrella and two chairs, and most things that you need to enjoy a great vacation! We also provide cards and board games.
This is a large one-bedroom for most standards. As you walk in you will encounter a bright and beachy master bedroom featuring a king size bed with a new hybrid mattress, a dresser, nightstands, a rug and the master closet. The television is a new 4k Smart TV and is mounted on the wall above the dresser. The bedroom comes with an en-suite full bathroom and offers privacy from the rest of the condo.
The twin sized bunkbed is located in the hall leading to the living room. The new sofa is wide and comfortable, and the sofa bed has a new memory foam Queen mattress. The second full bathroom is located off the hall along with another closet and dresser for additional storage.

Guest Access:
Upon booking, the guest will receive a confirmation email that the reservation has been made. The management will send the access codes and other pertinent information via email or through messages if you are using services such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, etc. This information will need to be presented at the guard gate.
When you arrive at Pelican Beach Resort, you will have to go check-in at the front desk and show them your reservation confirmation. There you will receive armbands for use at the pool and beach and your parking pass (during March-October). You will also be asked to sign off on the rules and regulations of the Resort. Please note that maximum of 6 people can register per unit and more than one vehicle is allowed. Please note that Pelican Beach Resort allows trailers, RVs and campers on the northeast section of the parking lot closer to Hwy. 98.
Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am. Since you directly go to the unit with your assigned door code, there is no deadline for checking in. You may check-in any time after 4 PM of the check-in day.

Things to note before you book:
This is a no smoking facility; smoking is not allowed inside the unit or on the balcony. Smoking is only allowed at two designated locations at the Resort. The resort has the eviction power for those who do not follow the rules.
The unit does not have a washer and dryer but there are coin operated washer and dryer on the floor about 50 feet from the front door of the condo.
The condo is located across the street from Big Kahuna’s Water and right in the middle of the City of Destin. The harbor is only a couple of miles down the street offering lots of watersport options, live music, kid’s activities, many restaurants and bars all in one place. There also many restaurants near the condo such as Cracklings, the Donut Hole and The Pancakery for breakfast, and plenty of lunch and dinner options from McGuire’s Irish Pub, to Margaritaville, to Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.
Beach service is only available for rent from March 31st to August 1st. The cost for a beach setup is $42 for 2 chairs and one beach umbrella and you can add more as you desire. The rental kiosk for the beach setups is located at the entrance to the beach.
Guests must be 25 years of age or older to check in or stay. If you are under 25 years old and are not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian that is 25 years of age or older, you will not be permitted to stay in this unit. Please call Southern Luxury rentals as soon as possible about your reservation.
No pet(s) are allowed in Pelican Beach resort.
