Great house.

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything was great and host responded to all questions very quickly. The beach is extraordinary. We were able to visit with extended family as we were all here for a wedding. Just a wonderful place for our stay. Highly recommend.

Great family vacation

The house was great for a large family gathering. 5 master suites was accurate. The other two rooms: one had a set of three queen bunks one of top of the other and the other room had 4 queen bunks - two different sets of two. The house was an easy walk to the beach and there were good chairs and toys and wagon to take to the beach. One of the biggest issues was the amount of toiletries - we had to buy toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc more than once on our trip. We also had an issue with cooking utensils. Seemed like for being able to sleep that many people there couldn’t been more cooking utensils. Also no grilling utensils. We had to buy our own. There’s not a fire pit on the roof like the pictures show. Daniel our property maintenance manager was so kind and helpful. Anything we needed he was very responsive and helpful. After our stay I mentioned to him that none of the doors locked and he fixed it the next day. There’s one set of washer and dryer now and two refrigerators which was a great decision because we stuffed both of those refrigerators full. The views were awesome, the house was clean, and overall we had a wonderful time!

The home was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Everything about the home and our entire stay was perfect! Our family had the sweetest time and made precious memories! The property management was incredible and communication was excellent! I highly recommend this gorgeous home ! We would love to come back for another family vacation!

Beautiful house but not worth the headache

I would like to start off by saying the house was beautiful and I proposed to my now fiancé on the roof of the property, with that being said there were a lot of things that made the stay not so exciting. The house being enormous yet it has a normal size fridge that does not accommodate the size of the house for the amount of people staying. The food would’ve spoiled if it wasn’t for our own coolers being used to store the food. The next thing is none of the rooms had a controller to the operate the ceiling fan. The house has two sets of washer and dryers. The set on the main floor don’t work and the second pair down stairs you have to keep turning the dryer on as it doesn’t work properly. The grill down by the pool kept turning off in the middle of cooking, the second time we cooked on the grill we had to move upstairs into the kitchen due to to grill not staying on. Next everywhere you look there is a sign stating you will be fined if you do this or do that (literally). I understand the importance of having rules but having signs in every bathroom, every room, on the fridge, in the pools, in the elevator, the front door is extreme overkill. One of the rooms did not have working hot water and the water pressure was extremely poor, luckily the maintenance man was able to fix it the next day. The top roof didn’t appear like on the listing. The floor was leaking and minimal furniture. Paying almost 8k for 5 nights for all the issues listed wasn’t worth the issues and headache.

Family beach trip

Property was listed as 6000 sq feet of livable space, but true square footage was around 3300. The space was still comfortable for our group but felt this information was misleading on the initial advertising for the rental. Otherwise great location, great outdoor pool, proximity to the beach and local restaurants

July 4th week

Over all house was in good shape. Needs a little TLC like the air vents need to be cleaned. Some look like they had mold on them. Great location to beach. Roof top patio was great at night. Kitchen has no pantry and only one normal size refrigerator so plan accordingly. That was surprising for a home this big.

Dream Vacation

All 21 members of our family spent a week together at Admiral’s Palace. Each adult couple had their own bed and bathroom. There was a super cute pirate room for the 5 boys and another bed and bath for the 6 girls. The beach was really close. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There was plenty of room for meals, games and tv watching.

Wonderful stay

Our group of 11 found Admiral’s Palace gorgeous, welcoming, and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the pool, hot tub, deck, pool table area, and roof lounge. After alerting Christina to a few minor issues, those were immediately addressed. The only blip - the bushes near the pool lacked adequate pest control. The private beach access was only a short walk away. One of us left a laptop behind. Christina has been super helpful in locating and returning it. Glad to recommend this property and 850 Vacations.

Great home for a large group

Property was built for vacation crews. Bedrooms all have their own bath, lots of towels, fabulous pool and hot tub. We loved the large table, it was perfect for games.

Amazing property! The host was always responsive and helpful. Very clean, inside and outside pool area. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc.. Good location, everything from convenience stores to restaurants all close by. The family loved our entire stay!

Family Vacation

Our group of 20 had an awesome getaway for a family vacation. The house was big enough and had plenty of space for us to hang out. The pool/hot tub area was a big hit for everyone. Daniel, the maintenance guy, did a great job of helping and communicating with us throughout our time at the house.

Beautiful stay

This house was perfect for a girls weekend! The pool was fabulous, and it was just a short walk to the beach, which was absolutely beautiful. Slept 14 people with plenty of room to spare. There’s plenty of bars and restaurants around, but we ended up staying at the house the whole time because we didn’t want to leave! 100% recommend!

1st extended family vacation

My mother in law turned 70 and she wanted to get the family together for a large family trip. We were so pleased with this vacation home. The decor alone provided a great aura and you definitely felt like you were on vacation. Each room was decorated and themed and a bathroom was in each bedroom. Our family got here very comfortably. I will say the cleanliness could have been a tiny bit better. We found shorts in the sofa from a previous tenant. We looked in the sofas to make sure all of the kids toys were collected before we left. Also the moisture in the house was a bit much. The vents are beginning to rust and several times I personally felt water droplets from the vents over our bed. These were my only two minor complaints.

Destin beach area huge home

Good location and within a few miles of the harbor. Short walk to beach. Bedroom’s aren’t large but decent size. Two bunk rooms are for children between 5 and 17. Great common room. Wrap around decks and roof top deck are great. Needs more bedroom dressers. Hot tub is on scheduled timers so no controls if you want to use them during the day. Furniture is dated. Maintenance man very responsive to our requests. Rooms not as large as the pictures suggest Overall this was a nice place for a large group (we had 16) but for the price I expected more. The area is in high demand so should book a year or more in advance

Great family vacation

We rented this property as a family to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary and have some fun at the beach. House had a great layout with easy access to the beach. The covered pool patio and the giant rooftop made the house, although the kids would argue it was the themed bunk bed rooms! From start to finish, communication with the house mgmt company and the maintenence man Daniel was excellent.

Beautiful home with some shortcomings.

Impressive home. Elevator not working for three days serious issue for 83 year olds. Bunk rooms have no dressers or closets for clothes. There is no hand rail for entering or exiting the pool. There are no towel bars anywhere. Serious issue with clothes dryer on second level. Kitchen lack decent cookware and serving pieces. Hot tub can only be used during time set on timer. Only 16 people can eat together. Enjoyed the porches. Family enjoyed being together in spike of the inconveniences.
