There were lots of things about the stay that needed some work. It started when we attempted to rent another property owned by the same group & were told days later that it wasn't available. They asked me to cancel, then communication became spotty. We then unknowingly booked another property owned by the same people a second time, but elected to hope for the best.At the rental, the information within the house discussed not smoking, but the house smells of old cigarette smoke. There were lots of little damages already present within the property which left us (as careful, fastidiuous renters) nervous that we were going to be charged for somebody else's damages. Doorstops were not attached to doors and walls were damaged. We spent a large amount of time anxiously taking photos to avoid charges for damages we did not create --- the drywall, missing plate covers, shower hardware that fell off in our hands when turning on the shower, etc... The place is dog friendly, but you can't actually utilize the yard because the neighbor (who has every right to do so) lets a barking dog out almost constantly. The beds and couch are back-breakingly uncomfortable. There was coffee, but no filters. The garbage was overflowing. It felt like a rush-to-market, unfinished rental, which is a shame because finding a pet-friendly place in that location would absolutely earn additional business otherwise. Essentially, it was okay, but a lot of little things added up to an experience we won't repeat
