I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a disappointing experience.
After checking out, I realized I had left my jacket hanging in the room. I contacted the front desk and called four separate times. Each time, I was told the housekeeper was unavailable and that I should call back in 30 minutes. I followed those instructions, but was later informed that the housekeeper had already left and that the item was not found.
I am absolutely certain that I left my jacket in the room, which makes this situation very concerning. Despite multiple follow-ups, there was no clear resolution or accountability, which left me feeling that my concern was not taken seriously.
In addition, the housekeeping staff was very loud in the hallway early in the morning. The noise was disruptive enough that I had to open the door twice, and my wife eventually asked them to lower their voices because our children were still sleeping.
Overall, this experience was frustrating, and I hope management improves both lost item handling and consideration for guests’ comfort.
