  • This apartment is newly renovated and offers a fresh, clean place for your visit to Michigan! The home is located in Berkley and is close to major cities (Birmingham, Detroit, Hazel Park etc.) It is only a 30 minute drive to the airport. It is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood off of Woodward and only a 5 min drive to Beaumont !


    We like to give our guest space to enjoy their stay. However, we are always available to guest when needed!

    Guests will have access to the entire apartment. Self-check in will be available through a smart lock. The code will be sent the morning of your stay. Please note, in order to get to the front door of this home you must walk up a few stairs. Shared Laundry is located in the basement of the building.


    This apartment is part of a multifamily building. Other guests or tenants may be in the other apartments during your stay. There is free parking in the parking lot in the back of the building. There is a shared laundry area is in the basement in the building.
    Since there are others in the building, we ask that guest respect quiet hours between 9 PM to 9 AM.

Eh... This rental was just ok. The location was wonderful. But the apartment itself wasn't great. The layout was a bit odd (not the end of the world). The bathroom was completely on the opposite side of the apartment near the kitchen with the 2 bedrooms on the other side. The dining area was basically in the hallway. The bigger issues were: 1. The cleanliness (ants in the kitchen) 2. The poor working window unit air conditioners (bedroom barely stayed cool even with it on full blast and the door closed) 3. The barely attached bathroom door (I was literally afraid to move it because it was on the verge of completely falling off - good thing I didn't have my kids with me - someone could get hurt!) 4. The MISSING handle to turn on the water in the bathtub/shower. Luckily, I found it under the sink and was able to loosely attach it enough to get it working. 5. The complete lack of communication after I checked in (I messaged the host a couple of times asking questions and they never responded) 6. The flooding by the front door (it rained and everything just pooled up in front of the only door. Again - not the end of the world, but slightly annoying.) 7. Couch was cheap and not comfortable.I wouldn't stay here again. I travel a lot and there are many better options out there.

We were in town for the Woodward Dream Cruise and this was an excellent location within walking distance of Woodward Ave and why we chose it. The apartment was ok. Older building, window AC units. This place could be really nice with a couple upgrades. Better furniture, replace the pillows, more linens, another towel rack in the bathroom working lamps and some maintenance repairs. I saw the broken blinds and bathroom door off the hinges in previous reviews from months ago. I thought for sure they would be fixed by now, but those issues still remain. I recommend removing all the blinds completely and adding a curtain rod with curtains that can be closed at night. The apartment locks to the outside but is still completely accessible to the unit upstairs, no lock on the door. We put furniture in front of the door and slept with a firearm within reach. The neighborhood felt safe so we weren’t as concerned with safety as we were for privacy. It was just weird knowing if someone wanted to come in, they could and our belongings were not secure while gone. We would stay here again because it served our need for the Cruise and we weren’t there very much. But unless the things I mentioned were addressed I wouldn’t recommend.

In a bit of disrepair, no doorknob on bathroom, hot water handle on shower fell off, towel Bar broken on floor. KitchenZero condiments, no oil, no salt and pepper et al. Basics should be in stock at a min. Overall a bit shabbyBeds were very stiff and comfortable and clean. On our arrival there was a very nice contractor working on the property. Don’t understand why the owners would schedule stays while the concrete stoop was being refinished. Had to hop over wet concrete to access properly. Served its purpose, quiet and pleasant neighborhood/complex. A little attention to the details would go along way to making this stay more enjoyable.
