Historic Beach Cottage with Ocean View Deck - Steps to Beach

Located in the idyllic village of Dillon Beach, enjoy the stunning ocean views and the peaceful sound of waves in this charming cottage. Take pleasure watching whales and surfers from the front deck during the day or stargaze at night. Have your toes in the sand in just 3 minutes. This lovely retreat can bring a remarkable sense of peace and contentment.

The all wood interior makes use of its original 100 year old-growth redwood and fir. Relax in this light filled house by sitting in the window seat amongst the book lined shelves to read or just stare out the window. The side BBQ deck has a dining table and views of Tomales Bay.

This delightful coastal cottage has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a pull out queen sleeper in the living room. There are 1 and ½ bathrooms. The queen bed is outfitted in soft organically grown cotton bedding from the local company Coyuchi. It sleeps 4 comfortably.

We have parking for 2 cars, WiFi, and the kitchen is fully stocked by someone who cooks! We welcome well-behaved dogs with an additional fee.

Another great stay at Judy's charming cottage! It's so relaxing to be here, so many great spaces to sit and read/knit/play games/nap. Great kitchen for cooking. Great patio for sunning. And literally a 3 minute walk to the beach, cannot ask for more.

The cottage is very tastefully restored and well appointed with most anything you would need for staying in, relaxing or cooking (though there are some not to be missed restaurants just a short drive away). It’s perched up on a hill so you can watch the waves break and the fog roll in from the comfortable main living space and outside decks. Just a short walk away, Dillon Beach is our new favorite with almost 2 miles for strolling and calm waves for the pups to enjoy. Looking forward to another visit!

Wonderful Beach Getaway

What a wonderful house and stay! Perfectly sized for our family and dog to enjoy a beach getaway. Checkin was super easy and the house had everything we needed for our stay! Beds were very comfy and towels nice and thick. Nice hot water and great shower. Plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the ocean and it was nice and warm up there. The beach and general store were a quick 3 minute walk down the hill and our kids and dog loved every part of our stay! We will be back.

The cutest cottage and beautiful beach

We stayed at Dillon beach for three days. The scenery is spectacular and the cottage was the perfect lodging! It’s a great location and provides just the right amount of space and convenience for a family of three. We had a very difficult time leaving.

The best! So cozy & comfortable!

This cabin is really amazing. A nice mix of comfortable and modern with some history thrown in. (Really beautiful light fixtures!) Great views, nestled in the village but super close to the beach. We had pretty nasty weather but we were delighted that meant we could cozy up in the house! The listing photos are a great representation but there actually is more space than shown as there's a big kitchen table nestled in the back corner that isn't in any photos. A nice surprise and perfect for dinner for four or a sprawling game of cards! Lots of seating areas outside which we sadly didn't get to use because of the rain but that just means we'll have to return in better weather! Judy was very responsive to all messages. We can't wait to come back again!

What a wonderful cottage

My husband, two small dogs, and I stayed at this lovely cottage. Before arriving I was a little worried that it was too small, but it was perfect. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, with high quality appliances and cookware. It is actually even better than the pictures, with panoramic views of the ocean. The living room is bright and sunny, and the deck lovely for lounging. The side yard was a perfect and safe spot for our dogs. I have rented several places at Dillon Beach. This is my favorite. I felt like I was staying at some very nice person’s lovely home. We will be back!
