”Air conditioning worked, it wasn’t real clean, ice machines on 1st floor didn’t work well and on 4th floor didn’t work at all. Breakfast wasn’t real good but was eatable, bathroom door wouldn’t latch, it was kinda noisy. It was a place to sleep, that’s what we were after.”

”The property was historic. Loved the charm. The bed was very nice and we slept well. Small town Indiana at its best. Sauerkraut balls at the Bier Garden were great and we enjoyed the live music. Thanks for a great weekend with no kids.”

”The rooms are always clean and comfortable. I wish that the hotel and casino were a little closer together but there's an enclosed walkway to and from. The casino is very nice they just need a bar closer to the entrance where most patrons play.”

”The room was clean and bed super comfortable. When eating at restaurants or the pool side the staff was super slow. The food at the sports bar was below average. The steak restaurant was amazing. We would have liked to see more of a dress code for the upper end steakhouse though. Someone came in wearing a Homer Simpson tshirt and it just kills the ambiance. We were there for a nice dinner and pay for the experience. We enjoyed the coffee shop every morning as it was quick and easy for when we...

”I feel this room was overpriced for what the condition of the room was.,Just an o.k place to stay. Rooms was dated with with chipped furniture , scruffed table, door and trim edges, etc. The swivel chair in the room was wobbly and hard to sit on. Room smelled musty and took awhile for the air conditioner to get the room to a comfortable level. If you want just a place to sleep and can get past the issues, it's an o.k place to stay.”

”The hotel was dirty, old, not maintained properly. Breakfast is over hyped. It is simple like most. My issue is the moldy and dirty hallways. The room was old but we slept well and showered well. I don’t need more than that. That is all we got.”

”Whole place smells BAD (and it lingers on you/clothes), we had dirty/sandy sheets, a used ice bucket liner, 2 roaches within 10 mins, our tv was broke, but the **10 year old in a suit and tie** on the check in kiosk was super cute and very polite, he thanked me for my feedback on the broke tv. We just needed a place to sleep, but the smell stayed with us the next day. At least there was parking available by the light and security camera.”
