”A very pretty hotel in a calm location, and all the patios of the rooms having a view to the sea below. It's a walking distance (20-30 min) to Castro Marina and its restaurants. The pool area was nice with a bar, and both a slightly larger pool (not for lapping, though), and a smaller heater jacuzzi. We stayed in a spacious suite, but also the smaller rooms seem large and have a patio, so perhaps those are better value for money, as the suite did not seem to come with any additional benefits....

”The property was absolutely incredible. The rooms were the best I've ever stayed in. Luca the manager was unbelievable in seeing to our stay from start to finish. The breakfast that was included was the best buffet I've experienced for a morning breakfast buffet. On top of this Luca would make you cappuccinos, espressos, cook you eggs, etc. Absolutely delightful. If I ever come back to this area this is where I would stay. ”

”Awesome 2 night getaway in sleepy maritimma village. Cute local spots for dinner, old palace accommodations was very charming and unique. Breakfast in the morning and a pool for relaxing amongst home grown apricot and plum trees. Very close driving to Castro, which is a gem of a seaside town. Excellent location from which to explore all that salento has to offer (with a car of course!) ”

”A cozy little cottage with tiny, almost windowless bedrooms, but otherwise everything was fantastic. The outdoor patios and upper deck views are amazing and the place is so peaceful. We used the outdoor kitchen's wood burning open oven to grill steaks. Fantastic. The road is perfect for cycling all the way to the tip of Puglia. Or driving. Close to Castro and Marritima for shopping. Close enough for day trips to Lecce and Otranto. There are 101 steps down and back up to your car, so not for the...

”We and our elderly parents (6 total) had a fantastic stay at this clean, spacious, magazine photoshoot-ready, beautiful villa (with sea access during summer months) in Oct/Nov and enjoyed the use of the wonderful, newly heated pool right up to the last day! Loved the privacy we had during the off season. We were greeted with much appreciated, thoughtful, tasty local snacks, fruit and bottle of wine. Villa is a short 5 minute walk to Aquaviva. ”Excellent location, clean, beautiful design.we stayed with a bigger group but the house was so spacious no one felt on top of each other. Rooms and washroom were specious for south of Italy. The house was stunning every detail of it. The town also had great restaurant, coffee shops, market.we travelled to beaches all around everyday but location was central so easy for us. I’d book this property again ”
