”Booked a last-minute trip to Nordegg and the Homesteader cabin at Coliseum Mountain Resort. The cabin was clean and well-equiped with everything you would think you would need for a stay in the woods. The location was beautiful, quiet and cozy. There was plenty to do especially for the kids who didn't ask once for screen time and never mentioned once that they were bored. Kurt was so friendly and welcoming. We really want to go back and will do so hopefully soon! ”

”My husband and I are in our 70s and even though we only live two hours away from here, we wanted a full nature experience in a log cabin. The weather was hit and miss, but we drove around and saw wild horses, mountain goats, and lots of deer. The cabin was great. Very cosy with a nice soft, fluffy comforter on the bed. The kitchen has everything you need. The owner was very welcoming and easy to reach. He’s also very knowledgable about the area. It was a great getaway 10 out of 10. ”

”We stayed at this place for 4 nights with our dog and 6 year old. The cabin was clean, the kitchen had everything you'd need, and back yard was peaceful. We loved that we could walk to the beach and playground from the cabin. We also enjoyed going to local attractions like Kraay Farms and Aspen Beach. Overall, we are very happy with our stay!”

”You cannot beat the location for one! The house is well thought out. So many extras from pots and pans to plenty of towels in the bathroom. Lots of space to move around from the living room and the kitchen. Each bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan for hot evenings. Fully enclosed private backyard for my dog Duke. Lots of time spent on the back deck chatting with family and grilling hamburgers on the bar-b-que. It was pleasurable stay! ”
