Mökit – Dog Island

”During my road-trip planning, I found the Old Carrabelle Hotel and was immediately intrigued by its old nostalgic charm. When I arrived, the hotel was easy to find and parking was right in front. It was a self check in process (so check your email upon arrival for instructions). It's an old bed and breakfast in so you are assigned a room and room key (I was in the Hemingway room). My room was very cute with a welcome bag of toiletries on the bed and coffeemaker/supplies to make coffee...

”Quiet clean great place to rest.”

”Our room was nice and clean, the staff was fantastic and super sweet. Loved them, the king sized bed was comfortable and the ac made the room nice and comfy. However, the shower was an accident waiting to happen. The floor of the shower was slippery so I threw a towel down for traction, there was nowhere to place shampoo or soap except on the toilet, there were no bars to hold onto. My husband is disabled so this made taking a shower extremely difficult. Fix this and we would love to come back...

”The resort was great, the room was very neat and clean. The oniy thing we didnt live was when we asked for more towels we we told no that we could do laundry (which is true), and we had to clean any dishes and take our garbage out before leaving at a very specific checkout time. Overall the property and room was great and I would stay again!”
