”What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. The home is charming and beautiful. The room was perfection and the grounds were such a surprise. I had no idea they were world class manicured gardens complete with a labyrinth! ”La Pavie is a lovely place to stay in Dinan. Catherine is warm and welcoming, and the whole house has a calm, relaxed feel. Breakfast is excellent - the quality of the produce is great. It is served in the shared dining/breakfast room. Part of the history of the house is reflected in the multiple tea choices which was a really nice touch. The location is perfect. Right in the heart of the old town and opposite a beautiful church. There's a quiet charm to the place that makes it easy to unwind...
