”Overall impression of Voyager Rest is there's no other place like it! This was our 2nd stay. We originally came with only a few family members a couple yrs ago and knew we wanted to bring the rest of our family for a future visit. We finally made that happen! This unique location is still a family favorite! We've been visiting the area for over 30 yrs. Jim's place is full of so much charm & peace it feels like a home away from home. The few days we were here we adventured to Dolly Sods for a day...

”This area is amazing! We missed the spring blooms by a week, maybe. But it was still so pretty. The property was exactly as described. Communication was slow, but I did get responses. The property was clean, but here were dead bugs, and I mean A LOT of dead bugs, on every window seal and on the floor under the windows. Lots of cobwebs too, but it didn't affect the stay. The beds were pretty comfy, there were plenty of towels. The firepit had one load of fire wood and that was it. I'd stay here...

”Nice location. Awesome creek running right behind the cabin. The host accepted my dogs which is awesome because that can be hard to find. The house is more dated than it appears in the photos. It was clean & had the essentials. Overall a great place.”

”Check in was quick and easy. Everything was ready when we got there. The upstairs toilet sounds like it is going to take off but it worked. We loved sitting on the deck and seen a few deerbut no bear. May need deck re placed soon as well as picnic table. Grandsons wanted things to do beside TV but enjoyed playing cards in the evening. None of the items I mentioned kept us from having a great time. Would stay there again”
