Donkey Sanctuary: Opastetut kierrokset ja aktiviteetit

When we booked this trip, we understood that some restaurants required reservations. However, when we tried to make reservations for nearly every restaurant, we were told that only the “Elite” could make reservations. Anyone other than the “Elite” would need to get in line up to one hour before the restaurant opened and they “May” get a pager for the second seating! There were four in our party to get in The Steakhouse. We waited from 5:30 until 9 pm for a table. By that time, there was only three of us because one got tired of waiting and went back to his room. The meat was too tough to have been a filet. We also ordered Lobster Mac & Cheese. This would have been good if it had been hot instead of lukewarm. The best part of the meal was the Shrimp Cocktail. There was another instance where we waited two hours after we finally got a pager to be seated. At both of these restaurants, the staff seemed to drag out the meal to either seat less people or say they were not giving out anymore pagers. I believe this was to save on food consumption. We went off the resort two nights to have a nice dinner without the hassle of not being “Elite” to celebrate an anniversary and a birthday. The rest of our meals were from the buffet. This was difficult for me as I had broken my wrist the week before our trip. My husband had to fix my plate. We take at least 2 trips yearly with family. We will never book another all inclusive trip. Housekeeping and buffet staff were friendly and helpful.
