”When we arrived, the staff forgot to mention that housekeeping was only coming every three days! So when we came back the next day after a long tour, we were upset to find the room a mess! I don’t need to have my towels changed every day but having a bed made would have been nice! Also, they never mentioned how they had pool towels so we carried our room towels when we went to the pool.”

”This resort is really outdated (atleast the tower were we stayed – they were doing some renovations there though) We were happy that we only booked one night. It is really close to Kailua-Kona center (but was quiet still which was great), so it was walkable and the trolley takes you to some beaches. ”

”Had an event across the street at Amy Greenwell, and my grandparents would always book here when we’d be on this side of the island. It’s older, but being able to walk right up to the restaurant is worth it, and in the morning it’s so peaceful to just sit out on the porch”

”This place is an absolute dump. I don't think it would pass for a 2-star hotel in Europe or Asia. Don't book the ocean view room, the windows will rattle to a point where it's impossible to sleep with the slightest of waves. The prices are beyond ludicrous. Spent a few nights here, expecting this to be the dream Hawaiian getaway after trekking around the island - it was the worst hotel we stayed in.
We had to change rooms 3 times to get something remotely habitable... this at a $400/night...
