”The hotel has a fantastic location, with a balcony overlooking the main pedestrian street – perfect for enjoying the atmosphere. The restaurant was also very good. The building itself is old, which we didn’t mind at all, but the lobby unfortunately had a very musty smell (thankfully not in the room). Our room was modernly renovated, with a comfortable bed and overall stylish design. The only downside was that the shower was located inside a whirlpool tub, which made it quite slippery, and the...

”This little known gem, situated about 10 minutes from Egletons on the D16, in the delightfully rural Correze, is well worth a visit. If it’s peace, calm and tranquility you seek - this is it. Relatively unknown to the English (we were the first English to stay here) it’s well worth a visit. The hosts are very welcoming and speak English. The facilities are superb - we just wish we could have stayed longer!”
