”Black Diamond Retreat was a wonderful place for a family gathering. Both indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and gave everyone room to spread out and wander. ”If you’re looking for an isolated setting where nobody will bother you, this is the place for you! You basically have your own road and there is nothing but woods and cornfields as far as you can see from the house. Perfect for a relaxing trip, with civilization only about 10 minutes away. There were a LOT of dead bugs, however, including a few in our bedding. I’d double check before sleeping in the beds if you stay here. Other than that issue, I would recommend this place as a peaceful getaway!”

”Me and my friends just spent our New Year's here for two nights. The man cave lives up to its name-- we spent a good deal of the weekend playing pool, darts, and card games, used the grill, and were just a few blocks off from some great food and liquor stores. I'd imagine any sort of group would enjoy coming here, though, given other advantages like access to trails and monuments in historic PA. Everything worked just as we wanted it to, and Mary's filled out the space to create a great place...

”I was visiting with family for my grandson’s first ever dirt bike race. What a great weekend! My grandson won 2 of his 3 races. My son, his girlfriend and my grandson came to the cottage for the evenings. We enjoyed grilling and sitting by the fire ring. My grandson loved playing with the kids that were with family by the pond. The property is absolutely beautiful! The hosts are very kind and welcoming. I would definitely love to stay again!”
