”A casa é espectacular. Está muito bem decorada e melhor equipada. O acolhimento do proprietário foi excelente e ainda nos ajudou a escolher o melhor restaurante para irmos almoçar, mesmo já fora de horas, já que apenas estivemos disponiveis para almoçar já passava das 15h.”

”Wow! What a privilege to stay in a one of a kind architecturally amazing home overlooking the Douro River. João, our host, helped us navigate our way to the home and welcomed us with chocolate, wine and kindness.The accommodations lacked nothing. The home was clean, comfortable, beautiful, well-appointed and a view that felt more like a postcard than reality.I would definitely recommend this home, and personally, I look forward to another opportunity to visit.Thank you João for everything!”

”This property was such a perfect relaxing escape for us. The grounds were beautiful with grapevines, vegetables, fruits, and stunning flowers we were able to enjoy this spring. Guillermina and her family made sure we had everything we needed and answered our questions quickly . She gave us great recommendations for shops and and restaurants. The views were breathtaking, their wine delicious and the pool was gorgeous. We feel so lucky to have spent April at Quinta da Portinha”

”I would have given it 10 out of 10 if it wasn't the lack of hot water during my husband shower when it was 2 degrees outside. He had to get out wet and have a shower in another apartment as there was no one to fix the issue at the time. The dinner and breakfast were amazing and the service from the waiter as well. It is a beautiful Quinta with great views. The bed and bedsheets were really nice and the apartments are great for people staying longer as you have the ability to cook your own...

”Fabulous hotel - almost Belmond but not quite. Rooms are excellent (must comfortable beds with down pillows). Breakfast is superb. Pool service a bit sporadic but overall the staff were wonderful. ”
