”Super excellent accomodation in the magnificent Douro river surrounding. Super fine vineyard experience with tastings. The staff was most attentive and restaurant excellent. The nearby Pinhao village was like a time traveling to -60'/-70's! The train trip from Porto was very picturesque. ”

”Well-kept family hotel, clean with good facilities. The nice people there will want to help you with special diets at breakfast. Pool area amazing! It was a bit chilly for me in the room in May, but I'm sure that's not an issue during the summer. Recommended!”

”This place far exceeded my expectations. The room was beautiful, fancy rain shower in the bathroom, large balcony overlooking the valley. It’s not a big place, maybe 12 rooms in total, so it was very quiet. The pool was lovely, also overlooking the valley. Breakfast was included and it was a great variety. Staff are very friendly and no language barrier for English. It’s up the hill about a 15 min walk from the train station and main area of the town. I highly recommend this as a place to stay...

”Stayed three nights in deluxe cabin with beautiful view over wine yards and old village. Really peaceful place with reach to good walks and wine tastings. Breakfast,even on northern countries standards was excellent with a lot of fresh fruit.”

”You simply pay for the views at this hotel. There are no frills outside of that (which was fine for my stay) the rooms had AC which was great. The staff was nice but it seems they were understaffed and simple requests took longer than other hotels I stayed at in Portugal. The buffet breakfast was convenient as there aren’t many food choices in the area to go to. I would go back simply because of the views and the relaxing property!”
