”The property was gorgeous and well-appointed. Margarida was a very friendly hostess. The room was very large and very quiet. It looked out into a large yard that had beautiful gardens and pool area. Our breakfast was extensive and generous. A great stay for off the beaten path-very relaxing. In a very nice town.”

”We had the exclusief appartement, that was to the back, and that was really nice and silent. The complex is a bit more up the mountain and not that "next" to the water/center what was perfect for us! (more silence). And even then everything in near you, supermarket at walking distance, or just a 5-10 min drive to the river. Plenty of restaurants, hikes, activities to do. Rooms where nice and spacious, kitchen was equipped with all you needed. And it was clean. There is a parking garage below...

”A truly spectacular place. It is a 300-year-old villa that has been beautifully renovated. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The staff was helpful, friendly, and gracious. The made-to-order breakfast was outstanding! There are many little spots throughout the gardens where you can relax with a glass of wine and admire the views of the Douro River. ”
