âWe liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isnât anything within walking distance. Itâs kind of in a business area so you canât walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasnât a problem but it could be if youâre expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. â

âVery decent hotel, particularly good for overnight stays for the ferry. The reception we received was excellent, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable and everything was very clean. The communication from the hotel was great and they were very accommodating when we asked for a room on a lower floor. The parking is a bit tight so would recommend booking in advance. Perfect hotel for us.â
