Tämä koti on kevyt ja valoisa ja tarjoaa laadukasta työtä kaikkialla. Deep in the Catskills, this wacky in a great way hotel features individual rooms with a far out theme. Overall lovely, just minor repairs necessary. Bathroom mold, couches broken, damp but neat basement.

Great place for a party.

Had a joint bachelor/ette party here and it was perfect for us. House is much bigger than the photos suggest. Wooded area with a lot of space between houses ment that we didnt have to worry much about disturbing neighbors with noise. Host was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had.

A remote property that houses a lot of people!

I held an event here for 13 friends and the house suited my needs well. It was very large and well stocked and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and hang out. I ran into no major issues and the host was communicative and friendly. Make sure you bring food, though, as the closest market is quite a drive. Minor issues I had: there was a lot of bugs around, to be expected in the middle of summer but there was quite a few dead bugs around the house. The jacuzzi seems like it hadn't been run in a while as the pipes let out some dirt. The basement is extremely echo-ey, to the point you can't have a conversation. There also isn't central air, so the house got warm with so many people.

Great house!!

My group’s time at this house could not have been better. The pictures on the listing did not even do it justice as there was so much more to it when we arrived. Everything was super clean and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

Perfect!

I and four friends ventured up here in the midst of winter and experienced a wonderful retreat. James was a great host! Very responsive and organized. The house is probably bigger than it looks in the photos. When the plague times end I would certainly consider coming back with a larger group.

Comfortable Stay :)

We were a group of 10 people (+ 2 dogs) who stayed here over New Years' weekend. James was quick to respond to our questions before our stay and even sent over a few videos of the space - which did not do it justice! Upstairs there are 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms, most of which have enough room for another couple to sleep on an air mattress if needed. There were plenty of these in the closets. The downstairs area included a half bath, a big eat-in kitchen, a separate dining room with a HUGE adjustable table that fit all of us, a living room with a large TV, and a second family room for lounging or doing puzzles. The space was minimalistic yet included everything we needed. Super clean & easy check-in process. There was also a large, finished, unfurnished basement where we let our dogs run around since we got hit with some crummy weather. Thank you for hosting us, James!

A Happy Thanksgiving!

The only thing that would have made it a happier Thanksgiving would be knowing that just about EVERYTHING was there already! I didn't use most of what I packed. You would need to bring any special items you need - like platters or serving bowls, but they even had tupperware to borrow, plenty of plates, dishes, utensils and kitchen items (dish towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, hand soap, pot holders) plus basic spices...and lots of garbage cans/bags/recycling bins available. To further update other reviews - wifi was great - there are two rooms to hang out in, one set up like a theatre (Netflix and streaming tv available) and the other is more like a sitting room so just a nice place to sit and chat over coffee or sit back and have some wine. James advised me to bring extra towels though plenty were provided as was quality bedding for all four queen sized beds. He was great about communicating with me and is a top notch property manager that has upgraded everything (It rained so we could not take advantage of the fire pit he added but there was wood, kindling etc in the garage for use.) and made this a really great place to rent for family and friends. The pictures don't do justice - the house is huge! We were very comfortable and so relaxed in this beautiful mountain home...off the beaten path and very peaceful. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

secluded get away summer vacation!!!

We had a great time spending in this spacious beautiful house. The house was clean and nicely put together. We felt very comfortable. It is an amazing place, very secluded and beautiful quite location on top of a mountain. The host was available when was contacted and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this house!!

Peace and Quiet

We had a great week of seclusion up at the end of a country road on top of a mountain. The owner was very responsive and the house suited most of our needs. Some critter had chewed through the gas line to the BBQ, but the owner was able to send someone to repair it and reimbursed us for replacement propane, saving our July 4th plans. Pros: -Very secluded and quiet -Spacious, lots of room to spread out -Great front porch for relaxing -20-30 mins from hiking trails For future guests to be aware of: -The nearest grocery store is ~30 mins away, so plan ahead. The gas stations in town still have basic snacks, drinks, etc -Kitchen lacked some necessities (cutting board, mixing bowls, baking sheet, sharp knives) if you're planning to do any advanced cooking -Lots of bugs outside, so be prepared and bring bug spray (citronella candles were provided) -Internet is slow, so bring your own hotspot (cell reception is great there) and Roku/Fire stick/etc if you plan on streaming video -The hot tub in the listing is just the whirlpool spa tub in the master bathroom. It's a great bathtub (the hot water tap gets HOT), but definitely not an actual hot tub if that's what you're looking for

This property was pretty updated. It was a large house with a lot of room. The pictures make the house look smaller then it actually is. We spent two nights here and everything was great! Beautiful quite location onto of a mountain. So peaceful! Home owner was very easy to contact and had no issues at all!

Big, spacious house.

This is a really big, spacious, newly renovated, comfortable house with plenty of room and we had a nice time staying there. The house is almost on the top of the mountain with great outdoors and fresh air. It was easy to get there, we just followed our GPS. There is a very good cell phone reception in the house. There is no TV even though the listing says that TV is there. The TV set is there but no TV service, no cable, no dish and no internet. There is just DVR with some old movies so make sure to bring your own collection. Areas for improvement: We had to contact the owner through HomeAway for arrival instruction which was provided around 11a.m. of the day of arrival. There is a lot of storage room but unfortunately none of the closets had any hangers. There is only one night stand in each bedroom and not even one waste basket in the entire house! Only one garbage bag was left for us under the sink, no garbage bin though, so we had to run to the garage with each piece of trash.

Such a great place to spend time.

Entire house was very clean and everything inside is new, a lot of things were supplied.There was 12 of us, during stay, and everybody had plenty of room, and I'm sure groups of more people will feel comfortable. Nature around the house is awesome, it is an amazing place to take a rest from city rush. Would reccomend to everybody!
