”I hit a deer on my way to the motel. So I couldn’t make it there. Expedia was awful!!!! Said I could not get a refund because I didn’t pay extra! I was 2 hours away I didn’t think I would hit a deer and not make it. Expedia no remorse. No care at all. I emailed downtown inn and within 10 mins they gave me a full refund!!!! I will be staying here every time I’m in Asheville from now on! Expedia….. I will not be using them unless it’s a last resort. ”

”This is just a cute, homey feeling place. I feel like the building is probably old, but you can tell they’ve made updates to the rooms. The parking lot is a little small towards the back so that could be hard parking a larger vehicle, in my opinion, but we had plenty of parking towards the front. This was the quickest and easiest check-in I’ve ever had. I think it was probably the property owner who checked me in and he was super nice! Room and bathroom were spotless. No signs of bugs or mice,...

”It was only an overnight stay, and the room was a bit spartan. However, it was quite clean and everything worked well. One a very minor problem, as noted by others, is that the toilet required a long flush or multiple flushes. My problem is that I forgot to ask for additional towels. I checked in at night and by the time I noticed that I need extra towels, I didn't think anyone would be around who could fulfill that request.”
