”Hotel and property was absolutely breathtaking! The staff was super friendly upon arrival and check-in was easy. My only complaints (and they are very minor) is that the room wouldn't get as cold as we like, and the pillows were too soft. Other than that, it was fantastic!”

”Absolutely delightful. Check in clerk was fantastic. Best decorated hotel anywhere. So clean. Bed was super comfy. The little details were so nice. And the ease of access to hot tub was a great feature. The included breakfast is NOT your typical continental breakfast, on a Sunday at least. I would call it the buffet of 100 selections. Great coffee. Des Lux will be our go to hotel in Des Moines. ”

”This hotel was absolutely perfect! It was very affordable and the room was amazing with great amenities and a really nice shower. Everything seems so new and it was so spacious. I was shocked. Our room had plenty of areas to plug in our electronics, plus a nice refrigerator and a separate area with a sink. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!”

”The room was large, clean, and exactly what my family needed. The main downside was the conference room on the second floor that was right across from our room. One day we had 20 or 30 guys standing in the hallway waiting for the room to open so we had to maneuver around them to get in and out of our room. The trucking company, TCM, right next door obviously uses the hotel for training which was a little frustrating. The staff, pool, and breakfast were all wonderful. ”
