I was quite disappointed. To be honest. I stayed at the Pullman in Bangkok a few years ago and I was very well pleased. However, my stay in Dubai was a little more subpar. When I originally contacted the hotel via Expedia for my accommodations, they were not quite helpful. Once we arrived, face to face, most of the staff were very gracious but I just had the feeling they were either overwhelmed and understaffed or just didn’t care. My second day I asked for a few things and housekeeping and I only received those few things late at night after I called for the third time without the housekeeping. Again, most of the staff, seem helpful but in the time of need it seems a little sticky. The rooms, okay, I originally paid for the executive room with the Burj K. View. My view wasn’t all that great. The headboard had a few leather scratches and the curtains had a few holes. Again, I don’t know the reason for the little discrepancies but it was far less than I expected after staying with them in Bangkok. The breakfast was good. The location great. But it just needs some tightening up.
