A Beautiful Weekend Retreat

We stayed at this beautiful home for a long weekend while we attended a wedding in the area. We were able to accommodate our family of 5 with plenty of space. Even our dog enjoyed the quiet surroundings and watching the cattle and deer in the fields. We plan on doing it all over again for another wedding next fall.

Our favorite "home away from home"

This was our fourth time staying at the Creek House, and as always it was comfortable and welcoming. Kathy is wonderful to communicate with and is quick to reply to an email. Our dogs enjoy watching all the sights and sounds of farm life from the serene porch! As do we :)

Peaceful Respite

Super welcoming! Exactly as advertised. We enjoyed our stay very much. We found the house very clean, spacious, and comfortable. This property had an almost magical effect on us that lulled us into a very peaceful relaxed state providing the perfect counterbalance to the happy but high energy of the Virginia Tech graduation. Peaceful and unique

We had an amazing stay. It was so peaceful and relaxing to be out on the farm. To pull up to the cottage and be greeted by a dozen cows right at the fence was such a unique experience. My daughters attempted to name all of them, and especially enjoyed seeing the baby calves. Just sitting on the front porch listening to the creek and cows was so calming. We even saw a bald eagle on the property. It was an easy drive from the farm to Blacksburg for the football game without having to get on 81, and a short drive to Dublin for groceries and places to eat. Overall a great place to stay for our family, we hope to be back!

Outstanding location and house!

Nestled inside a large farm, this is a very quiet property. No neighbors to worry about yet within 30 mins of Walmart/Dollar General, easy to get what you needed. House was very clean and very relaxing.

Perfect Get-Away

We spent a fantastic weekend away from the world and lived amongst the cows. We decided to spend a weekend without the kids, but with the dogs while getting to show my wife my alma mater, Virginia Tech. The house is incredibly welcoming and secluded where the only neighbors you have to worry about are the bovine friends that surround the property. We loved letting our dogs run around the property while watching and listening to the cows. You do have to travel down some windy roads to get there (follow the directions provided), but it's worth it. It is not far from Radford University and it's about a 40 minute drive to Virginia Tech. We hope to go back one day and maybe this time with the kids. Thanks for the great weekend away!

Exelent place to relax!

Kathy's place was fantastic! We spent a long weekend with family and friends looking to disconnect and relax for a couple nights. The house was very clean, spacious, and with everything needed for cooking.
