”Was really a great place to stay! Friendly staff at check in. Clean nice rooms. Really surprised me how nice it was with the low price! Fire pits to use outside at night. Waking up to a pretty view in the morning. Would recommend staying here and would again if I'm in the area!”

”Know what you signed up for first to establish expectations, and then this place is excellent! This is a small motel on the Wind Creel River in a very small, old mining town in the high desert. The buildings are old it is a little obvious. Thats the only negative thing I can say. The room was very clean, full satellite TV, comfy bed and it is actually right on the river with a lovely viewing deck that makes a great spot for morning coffee. Also, the rooms have coffee makers. ”Very nice cabin for two people. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant food was delicious and waitress was great. The road up the mountain was in very good shape and easy to travel. I highly recommended Cripple Creek.”

”Unique little motel! Quaint features could use some maintenance- bathroom sink faucet was quite loose. ; door didn’t shut real tight ; but very clean and neat. Rustic! Lived the city. Good food at the Cowboy Cafe”

”Room was okay but bedding was poor. Sheets didn’t fit mattress and comforter on bed was old and raggedy. There were holes in curtains. The light on microwave clock was extremely bright. Had to cover it with towels to darken the room. The hotel is in a prime location for eating out. We’ve stayed there several times in the past, but it looks like new management has taken over. Would probably not stay there again.”
