”This is a pleasant modern motel on the outskirts of town. It has nothing special about it -- the room is basic, and functional. There's no in-room coffee or water heater. ”Great place”

”A lovely hotel in a great location. Staff was welcoming. We walked out the door and were on the board walk. Absolutely beautiful! Breakfast was good with a variety of food selections. My reason for 4 stars is that our room felt damp. We had to have the AC running all the time. It was a hot, humid day in Duluth so maybe the AC just couldn’t keep up with it.”

”The hotel was fine. It was clean and comfortable. The curtain in the bedroom wouldn't close so it was very bright in the room by 5:30 am, the TV was also disconnected in the bedroom and the overhead light in the bedroom didn't work. For $300/night I would have expected more.”

”My favorite thing about this hotel was the shower head. Very powerful. We had a city view room on 11th floor. One of 2 complaints we had were that we signed up for 2 queen beds and received 2 full beds. We were told by staff that this was an Expedia problem and not their problem (although their own website lists queens as well, so be sure if this is important to you that you really delve into that). ”This is an old property. Our room AC was loud, the carpets looked tired. Small pie shaped rooms with small bathrooms. I thought the overall stay was fine, the cheaper end of room rates in town. Free coffee available in the lobby and we never went to the restaurant. It is right downtown in Duluth and close to the water. Also no daily maid service.”

”The staff were so nice. We came to run Grandma's Marathon and they had the place decorated, welcome bags in our room and an extra early breakfast for the runners! It made the stay even better!”

”The location was great with a view of the harbor and the lift bridge from the room. It was a short walk across the lift bridge to Canal Park and good food, museums, and shopping. We went to the Great Lakes Aquarium, the William A Irvin ore ship museum and walked along Lake Superior. The buffet breakfast was great and everything was clean. This was a wonderful place to stay.”

”Our stay was perfect for what we needed! The check in and out process was simple and fast! The Breakfast was handy! The Staff was great! The pool option was great (hope to utilize next time).
