”Nice hotel, friendly service, good breakfast. Location close to city center, shops and close to walking paths. Free car parking was available. Enjoyed my stay.”

”Attended a 100th and a 50th birthday lunch. Meal was delicious attentive staff. As we had come some distance we stayed overnight. Couldn’t fault the room, towel rail in toilet/shower room was lovely and hot. Nothing beats drying yourself with a warm towel. Enjoyed our stay,would highly recommend.”

”The rooms and decor were all simpathetically refurbished in Georgian style. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean. The en-suite I stayed in had a large bath & double shower, the owners were delightful, knowledgeable about things to do around the area. The breakfast was great, various things to eat, they catered for my niece who is celiac, she was delighted to finally stay somewhere and be made to feel part of the company, not an added extra on a special diet! ”The house is very comfortable. It is in a quiet neighbourhood close to the ocean. Lots of room, lots of dishes etc.If I could make a few suggestions, they would be: more kitchen towels( one for 5 people is not enough) a drying rack for clothes as there is a washer but no dryer. As well, the pots that have non stick coating need to be replaced as the coating is peeling. Rail service to Edinburgh is very reliable and fast. It is a great place to stay if you are visiting the Edinburgh area. Just...
