”I stayed one night and the experience was quite close to what I expected. Location is practical too. However, there were relatively a lot of stains in various places: bed, towels and shower curtain. In addition, bed sheets were slightly worn off and the fridge was somewhat noisy. I still felt that the room was clean enough, and therefore the stay was still ok.”

”A window into the past. Actual old style motel keys. Modern AC/heat. No elevator to 2nd floor. It was 50 degrees out and bathroom and front window were open. So the room was cold when we went in. It warmed up quickly but you would think since we had reservations they would have resolved this before we arrived. Clean, quaint. Would stay again. ”

My only VERY minor complaint is that when you order the breakfast-to-go that it was very simple and things I had actually already brought with us, unfortunately. ”I always rely on reviews to choose my stays, so I always want to be helpful to others. This property was very nice and secluded. It has two lower units and one upper unit. Two of the units (Lodge and Meadow) have a view of the water and very nice decks. The property has a nice hot tub and fire pit. Unfortunately, we were in the Forest unit. While it was lovely, we had no views or windows except for the fenced in tiny deck. The room was lovely, but dark and claustrophobic. If you want a romantic...
