    Neljän makuuhuoneen, 3. 5 kylpy, 2900 neliöjalkaa koti on rakennettu vuonna 2009, se sijaitsee 2. 5 hehtaarin kulma-alueella ja sijaitsee vain Durango Mountain Resortin (Purgatory) Engineer Village -yhteisössä ja on 24 km pohjoiseen Durangon keskustasta ( alle 30 minuutin ajomatka).

    Nauti hiihtokeskuksessa olemisen mukavuudesta, mutta saa yksityisyyttä ja lisätilaa talossa, jossa on kahden auton autotalli. Lomakeskus on sekä hämmästyttävä talven leikkipaikka, ja tarjoaa runsaasti kaikkia suosikki vuoristoharrastuksiasi viileässä ja viihtyisässä kesäilmastoon 8 900 metrin korkeudessa. Helppouden vuoksi on ilmainen tilauskuljetus pääaukion askelmalle hisseistä sekä talvella että kesällä.

    Koti on suuri monille perheille, koska siinä on kaksi erillistä asuintilaa, biljardipöytä, 6 televisiota, iso kansi, tonnia ulkotilaa. Kodissa on täysikokoinen pesukone ja kuivausrumpu sekä tietysti WIFI.

    Koti sijaitsee yli miljoonan hehtaarin kansallisen metsämaan vieressä ja se tukee yhtä alueen hienoimmista retkeilyreiteistä. Rajoittamaton seikkailu odottaa vertaansa vailla olevassa San Juanin kansallismetsässä, josta pääsee kävellen kolmeen vesistöalueeseen, joissa on runsaasti taimenta ja poikkeuksellisia näkymiä Neulevuorille. Talo sijaitsee myös lähellä Purgatory Flats -polun päätä, joka on yksi alueen hienoimmista ja luonnonkauneimmista vaelluksista.

    Tällä kodilla on helppo pääsy kaikkina vuodenaikoina. 4WD / AWD: tä ei tarvita talvella.

    Varaa vähintään viikko ja 10%: n alennus lasketaan automaattisesti.

    Valinnaisesta 4% lomakeskuksen hinnasta sinulla on pääsy Durango Mountain Clubiin, joka sisältää lämmitetyn ulkouima-altaan liukumäellä, porealtaan ja kuntoilutilan. Tarjoukseen sisältyvä 4% lomakeskusmaksu on vaadittava lomakeskusmaksu, joka on veloitettava ja joka ei salli pääsyä Durango Mountain Clubille.     Peruutusehdot: Varaus vaaditaan 300 dollaria. Tämä 300 dollarin maksu suoritetaan erääntyvälle summalle ja se palautetaan vain 72 tunnin kuluessa varauksen tekemisestä. Great trip with Family

We had a great trip to southwest Colorado. The home was clean and furnished well. I should have paid attention to the reviews a little better though. Highway 550 was directly behind the back deck/yard. We were hoping for some evenings on the deck sipping coffee and listening to nature. Could hear traffic pretty consistently every 5-10 seconds. We were also planning to grill out one day but the grill outside was full of dirt and debris. Gas tubes were rusted out rendering it useless and inoperable. Overall the stay was nice. It was centrally located between Durango and Silverton which made it nice when we wanted to do things in either of those towns. Ouray was only an hour away also. If someone was wanting peace and quite outside on the deck I would look for a different place. Inside the home was very nice and cozy though.

Nice place

Several of the appliances did not work as in the dishwasher and the dryer. We were not able to clean clothes and therefore had to wear dirty clothes that we had intended on cleaning after hiking and other activities that we brought limited items on. The dishwasher did not work and leaked water all day and night all over the floor. We had to hand so the dishes which took up time that we had planned other things. We also ran out of towels since we had to use most towels to keep the kitchen floor dry. Management kept saying they’d take care of the issues and never did. I left a list for Managment on all the issues, which was a page full and I hope they take care of them to keep such a quality house up to speed. I recommend checking on the issues mentioned at least before committing. They need a new dishwasher, since it has hikes in the silverware basket and does not clean well at all due to the hard water build up. That is at least the one time we did try to use it.

The house was close to the ski resort and the complementary shuttle to and from the resort takes the bother of driving and parking away. The home was as described, very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We cooked our own meals, and the kitchen had all items necessary. Property Management was responsive and answered all of my questions quickly. I would recommend this property for anyone, but especially for larger groups.

Good for family vacation

We enjoyed staying at the house - very comfortable and well furnished. 2 of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. One of the bedrooms on the main floor has a sliding barn door with only a sink/toilet on the main floor to use with the full bath upstairs which is shared with the bunk bed room. Our major disappointment was that the water is very hard and the dishwasher did not clean well at all. Glasses were pitted and always looked dirty. Considerable mineral buildup was visible on all the faucets and shower heads. Using Cascade Platinum might help the dishwasher, but a whole house water softener would help tremendously. The deck was very comfortable, but fairly noisy from traffic. The house is 30 minutes from Durango, but near some beautiful hikes like Potato Spud lake. Purgatory resort is across the street and has mountain biking (when the lift works), alpine slide, go-karts and other fun things to do.

Lovely property, beautiful location

Our stay was very nice. Many thanks to the owners as it is obvious that you have taken special care to provide a lovely, well-decorated vacation rental. The house is beautiful, in a wonderful neighborhood, and well-appointed from the furnishings to the kitchen appliances, dishes and utensils. Plenty of baking and cooking items to make any meal. The TVs in each room were so appreciated, as was the service which did not require us to try to sign into our own applications, saving time and the hassle. The management company was responsive and easy to work with. Check-in and all the instructions emailed were simple to follow and enabled us to get in and out of the property without any additional stops. The description about 2 living areas is appropriate; one observation for those bringing multiple couples. The main level has the master suite and an additional large room, furnished as a bedroom. The closest full bath to it is upstairs, although the powder room is across the hall. Also, this room does not have a closet and only a small chest. Would really advise they put an armoire or something to be able to hang clothes in this room. Also, this house backs up to 550 and although there are trees between the deck and the road, at times the road noise got pretty loud. We loved having our coffee on the deck in the morning and our wine at night. The proximity to Purgatory is excellent - almost across the road. There is a small 'lake' below the neighborhood which you can walk to and the nicest guy, 'Mr Tyler' to my grandchildren, who rents kayaks and paddleboards there (boardandboatdurango). Since the mountain is opening late this summer, there aren't a lot of 'eating out' food choices, but we found a great local hangout not even a mile away: The Nugget. Highly recommend it. Thanks again! We'll look forward to our next stay.

Excellent family vacation

The vacation rental went very smooth. It was easy to look through the properties and then reserve the house. They were very quick to respond to my questions. We would definitely stay again if in the Durango area!

Nice stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice house and location but resort was all closed down until 6-19 so disappointed we were not told. House was nice but could have been a little cleaner. Dust and cob webs. Beds seemed a bit old and well used. Paid a lot and expected some better.

Beautiful home

My husband, daughter and I took both set of grandparents on a week getaway to the mountains. This house was beautiful, spacious and came fully stocked with all the essentials. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. The management company was also very quick to respond. 10/10

Beautiful Home and Area

We had a wonderful time - 3 couples shared the house and thoroughly enjoyed the 3 master bedrooms. Gorgeous location, close to Purgatory Ski area. Home was very roomy and comfortable. It was a perfect location for visiting Silverton and Ouray as well as Durango Central. We’d highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway to Durango!

Great location to experience the attractions in southern Colorado

The property was large enough for our family of 6 adults and two infants. There was plenty of hot water. The location was perfect for the things we wanted to do. The property sits next to the highway so you will hear road noise. It was not enough to bother me to much but could be to some especially in the warmer months when you want the windows open.

Spacious home with great location

This home is large with a great room & kitchen that are fantastic for gathering together. We appreciated a well stocked kitchen, laundry room, & bathrooms. Also a nice dining table where we played games. It is close to everything- hiking, fishing, skiing & good restaurants. Less than half hour to Durango which was also so much fun to shop & eat. Gave 4 stars because patio furniture was always wet & no covers available & mice are common in this area.

Mountain-air delight

This is a very well stocked vacation home! The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare all of your meals with ease. And during these Covid-19 times we were very impressed to see Lysol spray in every bathroom and adequate TP which has been so hard to find in the stores - Thanks! The bedrooms are all a generous size and there are more games and puzzles than we could find time to enjoy. The grandchildren really loved getting to use the giant master-bath shower with dual-shower heads :)
