”A good hotel for young families. They have a play area for young children, which our eight year old loved. The family room was nice and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good. Located outside of Lucerne city centre, it is well connected by frequent buses to and from the city. There's an Aldi nearby too.”

”Nice hotel and good location to go around. Very friendly personnel and good service. The hotel offers also a ticket to use local buses in the town area, nice suprise. Also we got an option to choose a bigger room during our stay, which was nice and friendly gester from the the personnel. As we enjoyed nice and warm weather duering our stay so good air con would have appreciated. Otherwise no issues with the room.”

”Great hotel and very accessible with a car. Was here with 3 kids and got a double room (2 rooms in their own corridor) for us with a same price as normal room for 4. Very clean and spacey rooms with a fan to cool the room down. Loved the hotel and would stay here again!”

”Luzerniin tutustumassa ja tämä hotelli sopivan matkan päässä keskustasta. Auto hyvin parkkiin pihaan. Respa auki vain klo 22.00 asti, mutta soittamala saimme sovittua avaimen jättöpaikan; ulko-ovella puhelin, josta saatiin lisäneuvoja ja ulko-ovi auki. Erittäin ystävällinen respa.”

”Really enjoyed the location of the Hotel Schlüssel in the old town area of Luzern. Everything is within a 5 to 10 minute walk, and it is just enough off the beaten path to be away from the noisy crowds in other parts of town. There is also a pay laundromat just a street over which was very convenient and we made use of during our stay. There is no onsite staff, giving it more of the feel of a personal rental. This was never really an issue for us other than requesting two room keys at...

”Nice little hotel on the top of the mountain. Very clean and the service was excellent. You should note, that the only way to get to the hotel is by train from Zurich, and from the Uetliberg railway station you have to walk uphill to the hotel. The road has some steps and there is some sand on the road, so we had some problems to carry our luggage to the hotel. Very nice mountain with nice forests and beautiful sceneries over Zurich and the lake.”

”Face your fears! This hotel has only rooms on 9th, 10t and 11th floor. All the rooms have glass windows, that are very open so this hotel is definetly not for you if you have fear of heights. The shower is open to room - so if you have fear of exposure, it is not for you - also you need to be intimate with your travel companion. The biggest mirror there is in the room is located inside the toilet door. Also if you are claustrophobic you may not like the toilet as it is quite small and...

”It was a really old hotel but in ok shape. Very warm in the room, had to keep the window open and you can hear everything from the street below. The shower was ridiculously small. There’s a minifridge in the room, which was nice. The housekeeping knocked on the door at 7.30 am, ridiculous, way too early. Good location close to Altstadt and train station. Very expensive for what you get, but it appeared to be so in Luzern. Free coffee and tea available on 2nd floor.”

"Hotellin sijainti hyvä lähellä rautatieasemaa ja vanhaa kaupunkia. Kadulla ravintoloita, joista kantautui hieman ääntä huoneeseen (2. kerros). Huoneen ilmanvaihto hotellihuoneeksi poikkeuksellisen heikko. Aamupala hyvä, mutta osa aamupalasta, kuten leikkeleet, piti "tilata" erikseen, eikä ollut saatavilla buffet-pöydässä. Great location near the railway station and old town. Plenty of restaurants/pubs nearby, though some street noise was noticeable in our second-floor room. Ventilation in the room was below expectations. Breakfast was tasty, but some items like cold cuts had to be ordered separately instead of being available at the buffet."

"Have now stayed a few times in Ruby Mimi when visiting Zürich on a semi-regular basis (we switched away from Hotel St. Gotthard.when we learned that it's owned by russians). Ruby Mimi is centrally located, everything is reasonably new and fresh and the staff is friendly. Make sure you have time to have breakfast as there are some fantastic cheeses and cold cuts you really need to taste. The advertised "galleys" on floors 1-4 were a bit dissapointing. For example the coffee machine was missing, but with literally dozens of good cafés nearby the hotel this was no problem whatsoever. "
