”Beautiful views and great staff! Akaroa is close and perfect for dining.”

”I booked this for a friend who needed a quite and relaxing break. She found the host very helpful in all areas.Very easy to extend stay. Communication was excellent.”

”beautiful spot”

”A lovely property. Clean and comfortable. We were visited by a very friendly cat.”

”Our room was spotlessly clean. It was cosy and a short walk to the town centre. Nice was extremely helpful with local sights to see , restaurants to eat at and information.”

”Just amazing place! So much fun to stay in.”

”It was great that it was pet-friendly but the room was very cold given it was winter and there was only a small heater in there. Saying that, everything else was just fine.”

”Great spot with a view out the harbour. Highly recommend.”

”Basic but nice. Friendly, helpful check in, showing us where all the amenities were on our way to our room. Everything was reasonably clean and tidy. We enjoyed the free access to the dining area to make a coffee and we enjoyed the continental breakfast. The chiller in the hotel was a bit noisy during the night turning on and off.”

”Due to my time of arrival, I collected the key the day before which was really good but, there was no milk in the fridge when I arrived late at night. The staff were very good when Expedia mucked up my booking then charged double to change the date ! Would not use Expedia ever again”

”Excellent location. The host is awesome. Check in included a tour of the room, ammenities & an offer of help with our luggage. We went with the split level appartment which was great but you need to carry your bags up stairs. Location is close to the beach, shops & restaurants.”

”This was a great location and fairly priced. The hosts go out of their way to provide extras like each towels. Public transportation to downtown Christchurch and airport is about 1 block away and runs every 15 minutes until late. There are lots of restaurants nearby along with grocery, pharmacy, and coffee shops. ”

”It was a cute wee place to stay. We arrived late and the host had thoughtfully left homemade biscuits which were lovely with a nice cup of tea.I would definitely stay there again.”

”Nice host and place. :)”

”This is a very central motel. We ended up with an upgrade because of a problem with the plumbing. The room is serviced everyday, the lady that came everyday was very helpful and efficient. It had a whole kitchen to use with everything you need to make a meal. There are some things that need some maintenance. It is a small space between the sink, toilet and bathtub. The toilet roll holder is in an awkward place. The shower pressure was amazing. Fabulous using the heat pump on the cold...

”Great overnight stay again though the heatpump was noisy and struggled with the winter temperatures. A blind over the kitchen window would be a great addition. Great location to experience the New Brighton Pier & hot pools”

”Such a unique and wonderful spot. No need to leave as everything is right at your fingertips, starlit baths, sauna booster mornings, orchard jaunts, ocean views, chorus of bird life, candle light shadows adding magic to the moments, fireside dinners, the perfect place to hold us in absolute bliss and reset mode. Thanks for having us again!”
