”Lovely hotel, restaurant, bar, in an excellent location for shopping etc in Rye. Very good value for money.
There is no free car parking but the pay & display/RINGO is immediately next door and less than a tenner a day.
We can highly recommend this hotel.”

”Lovely Hotel at the top of Rye close to the church and the castle. Staff were friendly and helpful the breakfast was excellent with a large choice of items from continental and cooked food avaliiable plus hot drinks or juices.Our room was clean and comfortable perfect for our long weekend stay. I would highly recommend this Hotel.”

”Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. ”Note, The Old Alma does not use Hotelsdotcom -platform. I made a reservation and it was not found (and the hotel was fully booked). Nice owners were sorry and explained that this hotel is not available via Hotelsdotcom at all.”
