”This was a lovely property! The outdoor spaces were delightful, and we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. The photographs accurately reflected the interior and exterior spaces, and the interior was comfortable and well-laid-out. We especially loved how light-filled the house was, and the walk-out level game and television room was definitely a bonus! The host was responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again!”

”Beautiful rustic cabin that faces Madawaska River. Brad (also met his mom) are lovely hosts.Cabin is in the yard (I think) of Brad's family cabin. He told me he'd be on the property the day we checked in. His family did some maintenance but they left the following day. It's very private, which we love.Cabin itself is very well-equipped. ”The property is well kept with gorgeous views. The inside is cozy and clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nice to cook in. It was like a home away from home. Lots of amenities and we enjoyed sitting in the sauna and hot tub after a long day of hiking. I highly recommend Kuro at Paint Lake. I would go here again. ”

The trees afforded lots of privacy from nearby cottages and the lake was pretty quiet (we saw more wildlife than people on the water, including a doe and her fawn by the water and a mother loon with her two babies). ”What a magical cabin! The attention to detail created a serene and lovely experience. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was clean, exceptionally well appointed and we lacked for nothing. The beds were super comfy and I had a wonderful soak in the soaker tub. Haliburton is several minutes away and a really fun town to explore. Would highly recommend!”
