”I was not told there was a pool. Staff just checked me in and did not say anything else to me. Inside was good. No bugs. The bathroom ceiling has peeling paint and the floor by the sink was filthy. ”There was no soap shampoo in the rooms. Mid way through my first night i was told i was being moved to a different room. When I opened the mini fridge there was a roll of sausage that was spoiled. The breakfast was minimal on Saturday nothing was offered on Sunday. The staff was non existent except when i was told.to change rooms. It was not a good experience. ”

”The room was clean and well equiped. On a par with most mid priced Hilton or Marriot properties. Plenty of towels and equiped with special towels for the wife to use for make-up removal. She appreciated that. The only thing we found laking was the bed. It seemed a little mushy and was hard to get comfortable on. Otherwise, you couldn't have asked for a much better hotel room. ”It’s an older, renovated property. It’s perfect for someone that needs a place to lay for a night or 2. Staying there longer would be uncomfortable. Must enjoy stairs as there is no elevator. Ice machine wasn’t working so we would’ve had to see the tweaker working the desk. ”

There was visible black mold surrounding the bathtub, the sheets appeared unclean with stains and crumbs (we did not feel comfortable sleeping in them and slept fully clothed on top), and the entire room had a strong musty odor. Additionally, the AC/heat unit was malfunctioning—when running, it made extremely loud, concerning noises and switching to heat made the odor significantly worse. ”Staff was helpful and accommodating. Suite needed updating and fixing some tiling and general maintenance. Also paid for a river view room and got a room on the second floor which was too low to see anything except for buildings along the river. ”
