”We had a great snowy getaway. The cottage and the lake were so peaceful and calm. Just what we needed to unwind before the holidays. Inside had everything we needed from cooking utensils to pots/pans and we were able to try out a local restaurants. The host was very welcoming and answered all of our questions.”

Found" running water" and knew the kids would love it, especially because its water access , and we could use our boat to and from. Dorset is a great little town, everything you will need. Raven lake is clean, well marked out, great for a cruise, or tubing .”

”It is a picturesque cottage with everything perfectly maintained. There was a great view of the lake and excellent lighting; and a forest behind the cottage. Foosball and air hockey tables in basement were great fun as was the hot tub which is on a large deck. Barbecue is conveniently near to sliding doors of cottage on a balcony. Bedrooms are spacious. Secluded, but only a brief drive to top grocery store and conveniences.”

”We loved the chicken/duck/goose coop down the road. We visited them every day, and the management even brought us some of their eggs on the first day. They also brought us a bundle of firewood to use. We had a campfire both nights. These things were unexpected, and very appreciated :)”

”The property is amazing, it’s beautiful and well kept. The trees offer shade but you get plenty of sun as well. We appreciated the netted gazebo structure when we spent time outside. All appliances and kitchen utensils were provided and easy to find. The dishwasher and cleaning supplies made everything a breeze when cleaning up. The interior was very well kept. ”Our group had an amazing time at this comfy cottage. We pretty much had everything we needed for our stay. Made maximum use of the BBQ grill, outdoor bonfire, and sauna, played badminton, and cricket in the outdoor garden space, and used the canoes and paddleboards, etc (one canoe had a small hole so some of us could not use it but for the ones who had a lighter body weight were able to use that as well). We had plenty of kitchen equipment, towels, and games to play at the cottage! The lake was...

”Beautiful cottage on a quiet lake. The cottage has everything you could ask for...kayaks, canoes, Muskoka chairs, fresh towels, board games, campfire area and more! The cottage itself is beautiful - completly renovated and impressively decorated while still maintaining a cottage feel. We were very impressed with our stay and the attentiveness of the owner. Already thinking about coming back next year!”

”We enjoyed our time. The proximity to Sir Sam's Skiing was excellent. There are a lot of stairs in the Chalet, all wood so our legs were tired at the end of it. The ice on the driveway posed a hazard and I had the best wipe out of the week, not on the ski hills but on the driveway. Otherwise, the accommodations proved to be everything we needed and were looking for. Overall I would highly recommend this property.”

”Stunning location, beautiful house! Hosts provided lovely details to make the stay more comfortable, like supplying toothbrushes and a couple bottles of wine. The freezer broke while we were there but Rebecca was on top of it and sent out a repair man right away. Only points of improvement: the clothes dryer does not work very well and needs replacement and there were a lot of decorative trinkets which limited kitchen counter space”
