Anchorage

”The desription of the cabin as "Scenic Alaskan cabin in the mountains" is NOT accurate. It is an old 2 story duplex, not a cabin. This place is in a run down neighborhood right off the Glenn Hyw in earshot of the traffic noise. Yes, there is a mountain in front of the house, but everything in Alaska has a mountain in view. All you can see of this "mountain" is the side and woods. The furnishings and provided cooking gear and coffee maker are Y2K yardsale and thrift store finds. It has old...

”The property is about 20+ minutes from Anchorage airport. The home is quaint in the sense that part of the lower floor is a garage conversion. A commode is stuck next to the kitchen in a hallway closet size room. One has to wash hands at the kitchen sink. The upstairs mid bedroom has the toilet and shower open to the room without a separation. Awkward at best. The master suite , bathroom and the upstairs sitting areas are appealing. The home can sleep 5 comfortably, 7 with kids.”

”We stayed for just under a week in late June/early July. We weren’t sure what to expect with staying in an apartment on-property with the host, but it was good. Kids were playing in the yard occasionally, but not loud and gave us our privacy. Very clean apartment. Nice amenities. Washer/dryer was very helpful. We were out and about most of the day, but it was a great place to retire after long outings. Blackout shades were a big help as we weren’t used to sunlight so late into the evening. We...

”We enjoyed the modern, clean accommodations of this place. We were only there about 10 hours because of our late flight. The beds were comfortable, nice linens and towels. Thanks for the hot chocolate mix and coffee pods. The location was close to the airport. The only negative was multiple stairs as two of our party were seniors. Would recommend to a family without seniors and for a longer stay.”

8/10 Hyvä

"Vastaanoton virkailija oli kiireinen eikä kertonut kunnolla mistä huone löytyy. Lentokenttä kuljetus toimi loistavasti ja kuljettaja auttoi huoneen löytämisessä ja kantoi tavarat. Siisti, viehättävä paikka."
