”The check-in email got blocked as Spam and I emailed, texted and called the property several times seeking information. Nobody ever responded. We sat in our car in the sun in the parking lot for several hours waiting for check-in help. Finally figured it out by ourselves after finding the email in spam folder. The place sleeps 5, but the couch only seats 2 comfortably. They boast of cereal and stuff available. No, there isn’t. No smart TV, only basic cable which seemed to have OLD sitcoms or...

”I wanted ground floor unit due to 2 people having mobility issues. sent property a request for this with no reply. arrived to be told on 2nd level with stairs as the only access. asked if we could change to ground level & told no sorry. This made our stay difficult for the ones navigating the stairs with their mobility issues ”

”Fabulous place very clean and friendly ideally situated. This is our 2nd time staying here I would highly recommend it and it's not overly expensive. Staff are great, Rob sent us details of how to get in also left tea coffee milk and biscuits definitely will be back next year. 5 star accommodation ”

There is easy access to public transportation into Dublin. So many things are walkable! Or you may not want to even leave the property. Treat yourself to a stay at Alensgrove Cottages. You will have no regrets!”

”I have never had an issue communicating with a property using Hotels.Com but that was the case with Griffith Hall. The person who registered us said that it was a common issue for them. In the end, things worked out but it could be a problematic issue. The residence is just that a college residence. Don't expect a regular hotel experience. And be prepared to use public transit to get anywhere or walk a lot. It is not in a central location.”

The location was perfect—close to public transport, shops, and great places to eat, making it easy to explore the city. The WiFi was fast, and all the amenities worked perfectly. ”Ok stay for the price (Oasis weekend) and considering that this is not a hotel, it’s a student accommodation. Room was renovated and clean. Staff were very nice and welcoming. Bed was not comfortable and room was very hot even while sleeping with window open. Common areas were a bit dirty and lots of things were out of place: kitchen cabinet was loose and did not fit properly, building door made an awful noise etc. There were multiple silver fishes in the room floor, which was unpleasant.
