We had made a reservation at least one month earlier via internet, but after driving several hundred kilometers we arrived to Tudor Lodge around 7.p.m. just to find out, that the place was closed down. A man opened the door and said that someone had passed away and that they wouldn't admit any guests. Nobody bothered to call us and inform about the situation. ”The location is perfect. You can walk to the rds and to the city centre. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants near by. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The room had everything that I needed and has a beautiful style. But could use an update and a thorough cleaning. Not to say that it wasn't clean but you can see it has been in use for a long time. The room was in the first/basement level so there was road noise but it didn't bother me as I am a heavy sleeper....
