”I would have to say I have stayed in many of places through out my years and although many were lovely this experience has by far been the absolute best, the property itself is absolutely stunning, the view's, the food, the clean and comfortable bedding was such a wonderful way to wind down and relax with my husband, the absolute best and most rewarding part of our time away was having such humble, accomadating and kind staff that went above and beyond to make sure we were having the time of of...

”Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat is a hidden sanctuary. We hit the jackpot when we were searching for accommodation in the area to attend a wedding. Its location is nothing short of spectacular and the 360 views are breathtaking. Hosts Craig and Paul were so warm and welcoming, and a wealth of knowledge about the local area. Our room had such a comfortable bed with everything we needed and many more extras. The deck was made for unwinding with a daybed and hammock inviting you to linger and...

”Great place to stay.”

”This hotel is amazing; really beautiful room, main house, garden and pool. Peaceful paradise near busy Byron Bay Beach - very good combination. Good & ”

”This is a fun and unique place to stay as it is a (separated) part of a residential property. The communication was helpful and timely. The room was well appointed and made thorough use of what is a smaller space. Be aware that parking is not available immediately at the property but is in easy (very brief) walking distance.”

”Beautiful hotel on a beautiful location.”

”We were a group of 8 adults and 2 children. We had a great time staying at the property which was in the midst of a rainforest. Children had a great time and we had everything we wanted in the property itself. Bruce was really helpful in answering all of our questions ”

”Very easy check-in. Lovely place, quiet and relaxing”

”The hosts were very warm and welcoming. The area had no traffic noise. The bed was wonderful. We had a beautiful stay. Thank you so much.”

”We had some trouble gettting key ID, so rang the number to be told that the Just In mobile app no longer being used and where to check in & collect the key from. While the unit was clean and pretty nice with a coffee machine & pods, we were under the impression there was a continental breakfast included. The breakfast we got for 2 people was a 1 serve pack of just right, 1 pack serve weetbix, 500ml milk ( for coffees & cereal) & 500ml bottle orange juice. That is not a continental breakfast..”
