”Absolutely fabulous Hotel was so clean, comfortable and with lovely special touches in the room plus aircon. I stayed here for four nights for Isle of Wight festival and it was so convenient but such a lovely place to stay I hope to come back again and couldn’t recommend enough 5 stars x”

”The Cliff House was an excellent resto-pub with rooms. We bagged the last room and although a bit on the small side (which he had been advised in advance), it was well appointed and scrupulously clean. The bed was very comfortable and the furnishings had a nautical theme. Food was outstanding and great value. Staff were delightful and most helpful. The beer garden was a bonus too. A great little spot overlooking the Channel. ”

”Stayed for a few days whilst helping child move from one uni accom to another. Hottest weekend of the year and really happy that apartment (superior 2 bed) had climate control. Made for a really welcome respite from heat of the day. Very well equipped kitchen. Towels provided of a very decent size. Beds on the soft side for our taste. Would say bring an eye mask as bedroom blinds are not blackout! Some hooks on back of shower room doors would be handy. Exceptionally clean! Would stay again.”

”The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers.”
